This is both the beginning (in flashback) and the climax of the story where the Decayed Master and the Reborn Master have swapped bodies, which is a lot of timey-wimey, especially when listened to out of order. However, Alex Macqueen gets to spend more time acting like the proper Reborn Master in this one, which is lovely. There's no real indication of what caused this Master to regenerate. Which means there's always hope for more Big Finish with this Master, but it's been quite a while.
