Peladon

Big Finish doesn’t like to leave corners of the Doctor Who universe unexplored, which means any place the Doctor has been to more than once gets special attention. In this case, the planet Peladon merits a boxed set, even though Big Finish has been there a couple of times before. There’s also a family connection: King Peladon, in “The Curse of Peladon,” was played by David Troughton (son of Patrick), and has maintained a relationship with the show and with Big Finish, so it wasn’t hard to entice him back again. It’s also amusing to note that all the stories have titles of the form “The [Something] of Peladon,” maintaining the tradition from the TV show and prior Big Finishes.
