The Twelfth Doctor and Clara

Clara marks the first companion since Mel to stick around through a regeneration, but then, Clara’s a special case who’s met all the Doctor’s previous selves. Unfortunately, with her puzzle box function fulfilled, Moffat didn’t seem to know how to characterize her, opting for “control freak,” apparently. She appears to consider herself the Doctor’s equal, if not superior, but her “impossible girl” history doesn’t really justify that. Or maybe it’s just how she deals with the new Doctor’s constant insults. Regardless, Jenna Coleman stuck around for two seasons, which was apparently one longer than she’d originally intended to. Now, she’s either busy, or doesn’t like doing audios, or both, so the only inserts in this section are a couple of chronicles.
