The Ninth Doctor Solo

These stories take place between the Ninth Doctor’s regeneration and when he meets Rose. We’re either ignoring the second when he looks in the mirror in “Rose,” or maybe they all take place in the few seconds after he leaves Rose and Mickey on the street and before he comes back for her. Doesn’t matter; he’s traveling without a companion, is the point. And he’s carrying a lot of pain from the Time War, which is still fresh for him. Originally, this was a fairly small space, occupied by a hodge-podge of stories from different sources. However, when Christopher Eccleston surprised everybody by agreeing to participate in Big Finish in 2021, all those adventures ended up here at first, making it much larger and more appealing.
